Job description:
We are a retail pharmacy located in the Rego Park, Queens area looking for a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist (30-40 hours/week).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Supervising Pharmacist to enforce policies & procedures as set forth.
- Accurately process and verify medication orders.
- Proper inventory management and purchasing.
- Perform MTM via OutcomesMTM.
- Provide immunizations to qualified patients and maintain proper records.
- Provide drug information to patients and medical professionals.
- Provide ongoing leadership and delegation to the pharmacy team.
Required Qualifications:
- Active NYS pharmacist license
- Immunization certification
- Russian-speaker preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a team player with proven abilities to apply judgment, ethical practice, and decision-making skills.
- Assigned work hours are flexible and will be discussed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a retail Pharmacist is preferred, not required
- Familiarity with PrimeRx or Micromerchant system
Compensation: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
